Oxy-Band™ has recently completed a second clinical trial evaluating the efficacy of Oxy-Band™ wound dressing. The results of the randomized controlled double blind study were positive. Wounds treated with Oxy-Band™ dressings demonstrated superior healing compared to wounds treated with placebo dressings. These results and other findings to be published are consistent with results from the first clinical trial evaluating the efficacy of Oxy-Band™ dressings compared to a standard dressings (Tegaderm™).
A third randomized controlled clinical trial has started at a major academic medical institution evaluating the efficacy of Oxy-Band™ wound dressings compared to placebo dressings on donor sites.
These compelling outcomes are the result of a patented delivery system that makes oxygen available to the wound from a directionally permeable gas-emitting reservoir technology.
